MY PROCESS OF CREATING

My process of creating handmade and unique items starts with a vision; a vision of what will make a truly beautiful piece. I take time to select only the best quality timber from my sustainably managed supplier, which is located less than ten miles from my workshop. As part of my work with my supplier I am committed to supporting their initiative to replant the use of earth's resources; no healthy trees are felled and to date they have planted over 14000 hedges, saplings and trees.

The images below show examples of the initial stage of my process. This particular wood is pippy oak, one of my favoured species to work with. You can be included as a part of this process. When ordering a bespoke item, you will receive total license on wood, dimensions, colour and finish.
